Job Description Position Purpose: Retail Hub Logistics Coordinator
is the primary point of contact for over 60 Retail customers that
require white glove service. This role also collaborates with
Logistics execution and our carrier partners regarding supply chain
efficiency within the framework of daily and short-term execution.
This role is responsible for keeping our specified retailers
serviced, by executing plans to keep carries assets turning and the
dock clear of pallets. The Retail HUB Logistics Coordinator is the
first point of contact for our sales team on identifying a retailer
as backlogged and initiating the process to clear the backlog.
Scope: Number of Countries: 1 Number of Locations: 60+ Retail
Customers in CHEP Network Major/Key Accountabilities Lead the
regular management of over 60 retailers by performing white glove
services to prevent backlog situations from occurring Leverage
trend analysis, business intelligence data, and 'tribal' knowledge
to anticipate customer needs and proactively service Secure
business success and sustainable growth by recognition,
reconciliation, and communication of any potential supply chain
and/or order fulfilment conflicts affecting the customer Work with
the customer to avoid a potential backlog situation. Work with CHEP
carrier partners to proactively service customers by initiating
requests or swapping ready-load trailers in a timely fashion
Identify, assess and take action to resolve potential return risks
including, but not limited to operational and capacity constraints,
seasonal or promotional surge periods, and transporter capacity to
meet customer demand. Offer creative problem solving and
alternative solutions Develop and leverage strategic relationships
with service centers and vendors to maximize velocity of assets to
be returned to the customer network Cross-function collaboration
with various functions to proactively or reactively assist any real
or potential backlog situations Establish and maintain effective
relationships with CHEP departments within Supply Chain, Finance,
Operations, Customer Operations, and Sales to resolve issues
affecting customer Partner with Business Analytics and Supply Chain
teams to develop metrics and tools that drive predictive inventory
model changes. Proactively works the book not received (BNR) report
to drive on-time performance (OTP) Measures Customer Satisfaction:
Net Promoter Score Backlog Resolution and average days to resolve
On-Time Performance for Retail HUB White Glove Customers Reduction
of repeat backlog retailers Transportation Metrics: Spotmarket
Reduction, CRR approvals, and accessorials reduction
Authority/Decision Making Customer problem resolution Analyze and
Validate Customer Demand Adjustments Process Improvements and/or
Process Design Key Contacts Internal: Sales, Field Customer
Service, Customer Care Center, Logistics, Supply Chain, and
Operations External: CHEP Customers, Transportation Vendors,
Operations Vendors Qualifications Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent supply chain / customer facing
experience requi Desirable Qualifications: Able to work flexible
hours Experience 1-3 years Customer Service, Supply Chain, or
Account Management experience Skills and Knowledge Customer-focused
Superior analytical abilities, self-motivated and able to work
independently, detail oriented, excellent communication skills,
good data management skills Approachable professional demeanour
High learning agility - adaptability and flexibility while in a
state of constant change Ability to multi-task and effectively
manage time and resources Extensive knowledge of CHEP systems &
departmental responsibilities Decision Quality - Ability to think
outside the box to provide first contact/call resolution and on-the
spot resolution Strong understanding of manufacturer supply chains,
as well as production planning process Intermediate MS Office
skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point) Languages Essential English
