Job Description:
HCA Florida Largo Hospital invites new graduate nurses from
Galen College to join our esteemed RN Residency Program, designed
specifically for recent nursing graduates seeking to transition
smoothly into clinical practice. This program offers hands-on
experience, extensive training, and a range of opportunities to
work alongside accomplished professionals in a facility renowned
for its advanced technology and dedication to patient care. Our
residency program is aimed at fostering the development of skills
and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic field of healthcare.
Participate in comprehensive orientation and training sessions
covering all key areas of hospital operations. Provide high-quality
nursing care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to
ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Engage in
continuous learning and skills development through workshops,
simulations, and hands-on practice. Utilize modern medical
technology to administer treatments and monitor patient progress.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records according to accepted regulatory and hospital
policies. Excellent clinical skills Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part
of a team Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in using healthcare technology and electronic health
records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or
eligibility for licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
required upon start.
