Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care and Ostomy to join our
esteemed healthcare team. This role focuses on the management and
treatment of patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence
disorders, providing expert care and support in our
state-of-the-art facility. As part of HCA Florida Healthcare, our

to enhance patient care. Assess patient health problems and needs
specific to wound care and ostomy management. Develop nursing care
plans for wound and ostomy patients. Implement and document nursing
interventions, including dressing changes and patient teaching.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated
and comprehensive care. Participate in research and stay updated
with advancements in wound and ostomy care. Educate patients and
their families on management and preventative measures to improve
health outcomes. Proficient in standard clinical nursing practices
and wound care procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in using healthcare technology relevant to nursing and
wound care management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse license in
the state of Florida. Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse
(CWOCN) certification preferred.
