Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join
our dynamic team, providing exceptional care in a rehabilitative
setting. This role is pivotal in assisting patients who are
recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, helping them regain
independence and enhance their quality of life. As part of our
team, you will work in a nurturing environment that is
patient-focused and results-driven, aimed at long-term recovery and
patient empowerment. Assess patient health problems and needs,
developing and implementing nursing care plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care and
observations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
by physicians or authorized health care providers. Monitor, record,
and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Consult
and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan,
implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment
plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Instruct
individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health
education, disease prevention, and develop health improvement
programs. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or
treatments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability
to work effectively in a team Strong organizational and
time-management skills Proficiency in using healthcare software and
systems Clinical skills and familiarity with healthcare equipment

401k Current RN license in the state of practice Basic Life Support
(BLS) certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
