The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering expert respiratory care services across a diverse patient population, emphasizing our core areas of cardiology, women's health, orthopedics, and emergency care. This position demands a flexible, on-call approach to support fluctuating staffing needs, ensuring the highest levels of patient care and service excellence. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and spirometry. Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and other respiratory care devices. Educate patients and families on lung health and home care practices. Respond effectively to emergency care situations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective patient treatment plans. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Proficient in using ventilators and other respiratory equipment. Excellent patient assessment skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and education abilities for both patients and staff. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Current BLS and ACLS certification.
