Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Titusville, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,551 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, 5-10 years preferred License: State or compact RN license required Certifications: BCLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (preferred) Must-Have: Strong Labor and Delivery experience required. Experience with postpartum and Mother-Baby care is preferred. Experience in Med/Surg is a plus. Experience with Fetal Heart Monitoring and Labor Support is required. Knowledge of pregnancy-related diagnoses, Pitocin induction, and labor management is essential. Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery specialty. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Local travelers are not accepted; applicants must reside more than 30 miles from the facility. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:2-3. Weekend requirements will vary based on the unit’s needs. Floating to other areas may be necessary. The position requires skills in triage of obstetrical patients. Recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns is essential. The nurse will circulate for C-sections and provide support for breastfeeding after delivery. The unit handles an average of 40-50 deliveries per month. Additional support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Candidates should be prepared to assist with various procedures, including newborn resuscitation and stabilization after birth. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential due to the small unit size. The facility will make every effort to honor posted schedules, but changes may occur with a 48-hour notice.
