Job Description:

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our esteemed Neurology unit. This role is instrumental in ensuring high-quality clinical care and patient safety in our specialized neurology department. The CNC will facilitate effective management of the nursing staff and optimal patient outcomes, collaborating closely with medical professionals to administer, monitor, and evaluate patient care in neurological cases. Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient care in the neurology unit. Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and quality care. Evaluate patient care plans and monitor outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary. Provide guidance and education to staff nurses, enhancing their competence and professional development. Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to optimize patient treatment plans. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in the development and implementation of patient safety protocols. Strong leadership and team management skills In-depth knowledge of neurological disorders and care Expertise in clinical and patient care protocols in a healthcare setting Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida BLS/ACLS Certification Certification in Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) preferred
