Job Summary and Qualifications This position will require on call at least 7 times a month with rotating on call weekends. 30 minutes drive time max to hospital. 4/ 10 hour shifts. Mon-Fri general schedule for procedures. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive image-guided procedures. You’ll work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care in the IR suite - Monitor patient vitals and administer sedation as needed - Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery - Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Pulling medications and transporting patients - Strong team working environment experience preferred What qualifications you will need: - Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - (RN) Registered Nurse - Registered Nurse Diploma - Critical Care experience preferred and or Sedation experience HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center.
