required, WOCN preferred, BLS required Must-Have: Wound care
certification or ostomy certification required. EPIC experience
required. Two references from authority figures within the last
year required. Flu vaccine required for the specified season, with
medical or religious exemptions only. COVID-19 vaccine required,
with medical or religious exemptions only. Description: Wound care
position, 5x8 M-F from 08:00 to 16:30. Floating may be required to
cover community hospitals when needed. Candidates will primarily
work in the hospital with the highest volume of consults. Team
members include Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses and one per diem
Wound Care RN. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults,
pediatrics, and geriatrics. Experience in managing various wound
types and ostomy care is essential. Knowledge in pressure ulcer
assessment and management is important. Proficiency in using wound
care products and therapies is required. The nursing team
collaborates with several interdisciplinary services for patient
care. Candidates should possess strong assessment, management, and
teaching skills related to skin and wound care. Flexibility is
expected regarding scheduling, based on unit needs. References and
