TeamHealth has an emergency department (ED) assistant medical director position open for a board certified/board prepared emergency medicine (EM) physician to join the team at AdventHealth Orlando. Clinical Leadership Duties - Quaternary Care Center: main referral hospital in Orlando for the AdventHealth system - 95,000 annual patient volume - 1400 bed hospital facility - 80 bed emergency department - Dedicated pediatric ED - All subspecialties represented, expect trauma - EMR: EPIC - One Call Transfer via Mission Control: the nation's largest command center - Residency Programs: diagnostic radiology, general pediatrics, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and orthopedic surgery; opportunities to teach and mentor - AdventHealth East Orlando Emergency Medicine Residents: rotate for Senior Elective Clinical Leadership Duties - Support the facility medical director in overseeing emergency department operations and clinical performance - Provide guidance to the EM team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care - Monitor patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance care quality and efficiency - Champion safety and best practices throughout the emergency department Qualifications - Board certified/board prepared in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) - Prior leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred TeamHealth is a physician-led, patient-focused company with over 16,000 clinicians.
