Job Description Overview AHMG Cardiology in Apopka is looking for a dynamic and non-invasive cardiologist to join our team at our Apopka location. This physician will help continue to grow a new market in association with our physicians and advanced practice providers. Responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient general cardiology. The new physician would also have weekend call coverage at the Apopka and Winter Garden hospital in rotation with practice partners and other community cardiology physicians. Requirements for the position: Board Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty board certification in Cardiovascular Disease. High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus. The AdventHealth Heart, Lung and Vascular Institute is one of the busiest centers of its kind in the nation. We are a leading provider of cardiovascular and thoracic services among Medicare patients with national rankings that include: 1 in Cardiology volume, 1 in Vascular Surgery volume, 5 in Thoracic Surgery volume and 8 in Open Heart Surgery volume. The AH HLVI is centered in a tertiary facility known as AdventHealth Orlando within the Ginsburg Tower. This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.
