Job Description:
Aspire Health Partners, a non-profit leader in mental health and
addiction services in Central Florida, seeks a passionate and
skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated
team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health care
and support to a diverse client base, including individuals
struggling with mental health disorders, substance abuse, and
homelessness. As a valued member of our team, you will play a
critical role in facilitating patient recovery, promoting mental
wellness, and contributing to our communitys overall health.
Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine client
needs and goals. Provide individual, group, and family therapy
sessions tailored to client needs. Develop and implement treatment
plans that address psychological and emotional issues and promote
ongoing wellness. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
to coordinate client care and participate in multidisciplinary
teams. Maintain accurate records and notes on client interactions
and treatment progress. Participate in ongoing education, training,
and certifications to stay current on best practices and emerging
research. Advocate for the needs and rights of clients, and work to
improve accessibility and quality of mental health services. Proven
expertise in counseling and psychotherapy, especially CBT and DBT.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
engage effectively with diverse populations. Experience in crisis
intervention and ability to handle stressful situations with calm
and precision. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor
(LMHC) or equivalent. Additional certifications in therapeutic
practices like CBT or DBT are preferred.
