Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Surgery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a ASC in Winter Park, FL. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 5x8: 6:45AM - 3:30PM. - Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR. - Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room. - Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient . - Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens. - Initiates corrective actions whenever needed. Job Requirements: - Current RN license for the state of Florida. - 2 years of acute Operating Room RN experience is required. - BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
