Job Functions Experience in Medical billing with Medicare/caid, managed care in a hospital or doctor's office setting. Responsible for managing the administrative responsibilities of billing insurance to ensure the client's procedures are paid for by their insurance company. Acting as the liaison between the client, client's family, insurance company, utilization review and other staff when necessary. Verifying insurance, handling self-pay client accounts, accurately preparing Medicaid, Medicare, Managed Care and third-party billing on a weekly basis. In addition, you will be working all claim rejections in clearinghouse to ensure all billing is captured and sent out in a timely manner. Will also assist in helping to maintain daily census/assist in claim deletions-corrections as needed. Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n) Level II Background clearance- All Aspire Health Partners Internships and Careers require Level 2 clearance, with Aspire covering fingerprinting costs.
