Job Description:

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a pediatric nephrologist to join our collaborative team, with service locations in Orlando, Tampa and Melbourne, to provide comprehensive care for kidney and metabolic disorders. This is a new junior position open to both graduating fellows and recently boarded pediatric nephrologist eager to advance patient care in a dynamic environment, while expanding access to communities. The practice is affiliated and partnered with AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, a 200 bed tertiary Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will be/have: - Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure) - Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatric Nephrology - Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C) - Proficiency with kidney transplants, dialysis and CRRT Physician Expectations: - Rotating call coverage at Children’s campus with colleagues - Clinic days at Melbourne, Tampa and Orlando - Outpatient average volumes of 10-12 patients - Inpatient average volumes of 6-12 patients - 1:3 call rotation. Overnight coverage managed via phone.
