Job Title: Surgical/OR Tech Profession: Surgical/OR Tech Specialty: Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Experience: 2 years scrub experience in the operating room License: Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist, BLS Must-Have: Experience with Pediatric CVOR and Adult CVOR; preferred pediatrics OR experience Description: This position is for 13 weeks. The unit is focused on Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). The shift is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. On-call requirements are nine days and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) each month. There will be no floating to other units. One major holiday is included in the on-call requirements. Candidates must have certification as a Surgical Technologist and BLS. Experience should include at least two years in a scrub role within the operating room. Experience with pediatric cardiovascular operating room procedures is preferred. This role is specifically for surgical technologists working with pediatric patients.
