Job Description:

Our Clinical Nurse Assistant will receive a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for assisting the service team in device collection, facilitating room to room device swap outs, and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on an infusion pump medical device primarily used in the Critical Care unit of hospitals.

Navigate units and coordinate with unit nurses to assist with pulling pumps as needed
Provide education and staff support regarding user interface changes to infusion pumps
Assist with questions pertaining to the software upgrade.
Support management staff with infusion pump configuration.
Interacting with patients when entering patient rooms to swap out devices for the upgrade (no direct patient care).
Full-time commitment requiring travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule.
Assignment-based schedule with 40-hour commitment per week. Travel nationally to support customer needs. -
Appropriate PPE is provided to all employees prior to the start of assignments.

Responsibilities:

Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations

Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience

Utilize clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device

Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments

Job Requirements:

Registered Nurse RN Degree required
Hospital or Industry Experience required
Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) can be helpful but is not required
Excellent communication Skills
Excellent documentation skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 pounds
You will be required to provide 3 weeks of availability per month

Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated
