TeamHealth is seeking an experienced board certified emergency (EM) medicine physician with prior medical director experience to lead our team at AdventHealth Orlando in downtown Orlando Florida. Located in the city center of Orlando, this facility receives the most system-wide transports throughout the Central AdventHealth metro system. The 42-bed emergency department sees 98,000 patients annually and the physicians use EPIC. With multiple overlapping physician and APC shifts, the coverage varies from 70-80 hours of physician coverage daily with a combination of 8,9, and 10-hour shifts. Physicians average 2.3 patients per hour and the admission rate is 34%. All specialties are represented at this hospital, and there is a dedicated pediatric ED also staffed by TeamHealth. Requirements are board certified ABEM/AOBEM with prior ED medical director experience at a large healthcare system or trauma center.Position Highlights:
