*Front Desk Coordinator *to support our continued growth! The ideal

ABOUT THE ROLE*
Our *Front Desk Coordinators* are patient-facing customer service
advocates who are primarily responsible for patient reception and
scheduling. This role is the face of IVX Health, alongside our
clinical teams, who ensure patients have an excellent experience
before, during, and after their care.
*ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Greeting and checking-in patients as they arrive to our
centers
* Verifies patient insurance information upon check-in
* Copies insurance cards and driver's license for all new
patients
* Collects patient paperwork and enters patient information into
systems, ensurinng patient information is accurate and
up-to-date
* Schedule, reschedule, and follow-up with patients for necessary
appointments via phone, text, and email
* Manages patient cancellations
* Answer calls within the center and market as appropriate
* General center support i.e. light cleaning, supply
ordering/stocking, etc.
* Receiving packages and mail as appropriate

* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability
to handle multiple tasks and patients at the same time in a
fast-paced healthcare environment, understanding that patients
physically present take priority
* Detailed-Oriented: This role requires the ability to see and pay
careful attention to details to be thorough and accurate in
completing work tasks
* Ability to learn to perform healthcare front desk tasks with
proficiency, as defined by ease, speed, and accuracy or performance
including but not limited to:
* Administrative and clerical procedures such as patient
scheduling, phones, and supply ordering
* Medical terminology
* Reading and reviewing insurance plan information and knowledge of
insurance portals
* Utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, Practice
Management platforms, and other software programs
* Proactive and optimistic
* Enjoys creating a friendly atmosphere
* Team player with ability to demonstrate workstyle flexibility and
teamwork, including being pleasant with others on the job and
displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude
* Proficiency with standard office software applications (Microsoft
Office, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*
* High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence
Certificate)
* Over 1 year, up to and including 2 years of administrative and
clerical experience, preferrably in a healthcare setting
* 1-2 years using EMRs and/or practice management systems
* Individuals who have found success in this role have had previous
experience in healthcare pre-authorization / pre-certification
