Physical Therapist Assistant Tasks:
As a -Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) -service may include but are not limited to:

Purposeful activities or interventions to maximize the independence and the maintenance of health of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or learning disability or an adverse environmental condition. -
Assisting the physical therapist when performing tests, evaluation and complex treatment procedures
Observing, recording, and reporting to the therapist the condition, reactions and responses related to assigned duties
Assisting the therapist in consulting with patients, family members and other health care professionals as appropriate -
Assisting with the care of the physical therapy department and equipment
Assisting the physical therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned -
