This is an award-winning, financially strong company with a long history of excellence in long-term care.Seeking a DON that is a RN with leadership experience within senior living or in a hospital setting that are ready to take their career to the next level. Must have a passion for coaching, training, and developing others.Responsibilities of Director of Nursing:- DON plans, organizes, developers and directs the overall operation of the Nursing Department- Ensures Department is in accordance with all laws, regulations, and organization standards- Maintains a physical, social, and psychological environment that promotes the health and wellbeing of others- Proactively anticipating and responding to resident, staff and facility needs- Guide clinical matters, facilitating and/or providing oversight of training, education and effective clinical practices Requirements:- Current RN license with applicable state- Supervisory/management experience in Long Term Care- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations- Strong skills in business and financial management- Ability to set and achieve relevant and challenging goals for self and team- Continuous coaching, training, and development of a quality nursing teamBenefits:- Benifits package- Competitve salary - Work/Life balance - Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programsIf you are interested in this position apply online or submit your resume to .
