Job Description:
***This position is for one (2) days per week of consistent
coverage on Mondays and Saturdays*** History This well-established
location has been serving the incredible patients of Clewiston, FL
for several years. It is situated on a major roadway, but it is
super easy to park and get into the office. This practice offers
full-technician support for their busy office, so now you can focus
solely on patient care, whether a comprehensive eye exam, contact
lens exam, or medical exam and work on building the practice. All
equipment required to perform a comprehensive examination is
provided and includes a brand-new combination laser-scanning
retinal imaging and perimetry screening unit. About the position
This practice has a loyal clientele and is needing a fabulous
Optometrist to see them, their friends, and their families, for
their routine eye examination needs. There is room for some real
growth in this market. This opportunity would be able to provide a
revenue share system with a minimum daily guaranteed rate, and
shares of in-office sales of dry-eye nutraceutical and treatment

practice. Job Description Optometrist responsibilities include
analyzing vision tests, identifying sight problems, and prescribing
corrective lenses and eyeglasses. To be successful in this role,
you should have attention to detail and be able to treat all kinds
of patients with kindness and discretion, from young children to
the elderly. Note that to be considered for this position, you need
to be a licensed optometrist, or in the process of acquiring your
Optometrist License. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate
diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and injuries.
Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests
Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and
glaucoma Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to
sight issues based on each patient's specific case and medical
history Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses
Advise patients on proper eye care techniques Keep updated and
accurate medical records for all patients Advise/train patients on
how to use and maintain their contact lenses Co-management of
patients with local Ophthalmologists Skills Work experience as an
Optometrist In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision
defects The ability to explain medical terms simply and clearly
Attention to detail Degree in Optometry Employment Type: Full Time
