Registered Nurse Labor and DeliverySHIFT: Nights (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

$15,000 Sign on Bonus!

UCF Lake Nona Hospital is located in the southern Orlando suburb of Lake Nona, which is known as Medical City. UCFLNH is a 64-bed partnership facility owned by HCA Healthcare and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. It's a teaching hospital in Central Florida and opened in early 2021.

UCF Lake Nona Hospital is located immediately adjacent to the UCF College of Medicine. It is just minutes from the Orlando International Airport and is easily accessible from major roads including Florida's Turnpike, State Road 417, and the East-West Expressway.

* The Labor and Delivery unit has 6 beds, C-Section OR in Unit, 2 bed triage and Couplet care

Position Summary:

* Responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
* Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.

Qualifications

* Licensure: State of Florida RN License required or appropriate compact licensure required. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
* Education: ASN Required; BSN Preferred or ARNP
* Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care
* Certification: BLS required, ACLS must be obtained within 6 months,
* NRP must be obtained within 6 months.
