Shift:--FirstReqID: req43948 Orlando Health is currently seeking a Clinical Quality and Safety Director, in this role you will be responsible for planning, designing, and leading strategies that will support Orlando Health achievement of top decile performance in all patient safety and quality measures. In addition, you will research and develop quality improvement programs to provide services that lead to better healthcare outcomes.-- Education/Training Bachelor's Degree in a clinical or allied health field required. Masters Degree in health related field preferred. Experience Five years experience working on performance improvement activities with measurable results, preferably in a clinical operations setting. Licensure/Certification Current clinical licensure in the State of Florida. Licensure as a registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner preferred.-- Essential Functions

  • Responsible for developing and leading clinical performance improvement initiatives related to patient safety at a system level.
  • Measures and evaluates data to identify trends and determine the impact of Orlando Health programs on the health and safety of patients, with a commitment to achieve zero harm events.
  • Partners with site level Quality Managers/Directors and Clinical Quality Specialists, Risk Management, and clinical leaders on the development of strategies related to adverse events. Ensures a bidirectional flow of communication between individual site leadership and corporate Quality.
