Job DescriptionThe Regional Account Manager – South East region, is responsible for the development of specific sales activities in their assigned field territory as outlined by the North American Sales Manager. The region covers AL, MS, LA, FL, GA, NC, SC, VA, KY, WV with an expectation of 60% travel.This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected Solution provider within the growing field of Medical Simulation. Candidates with a proven track record within medical simulation sales will be given a priority.JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Account Manager is an essential part of the sales team in maintaining existing client accounts. The Regional Account Manager must:

  • Be knowledgeable and understand the goals and priorities of the Company
  • Be Customer relations oriented to have the clients’ trust that their Account Manager has their best interest at heart.
  • Have excellent communication skills to make professional presentations, establish one-on-one rapport, and communicate well over the phone, email and in person.
  • Be persuasive without being pushy
  • Be results-oriented.
  • Maintains profitable relationships and seeks ways to upsell products and services
  • Have sound business judgment to weigh the pros and cons and to make the best decision in a competitive marketplaceEssential Functions • Pursue new business sales revenue from cold leads and existing accounts via up selling, account expansion and new departments within existing accounts• Maintain proficient product knowledge to facilitate up sell opportunities promoting new products and features• Gather competitive information as well as probing for new opportunities• Supply client feedback to staff• Watch competition and report activity• Performs other duties as requiredSKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Ability to conduct proactive sales activities - needs assessment, proposal presentation, order negotiation and post-sales service requirements• Ability to develop accounts on an ongoing basis including frequent service follow-ups, problem solving and emerging needs identification• Ability to work with internal staff on client development opportunities.• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills including oral, written and presentation• Strong team player as well as an individual contributor• Passionate, convincing and determined to succeedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree• 2+ years of successful relationship-selling experience in Simulation or related vertical• 60% travel is required• Demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas• Experience in consultative sales techniques• Demonstrated success in technical medical/nursing sales to existing customers• Dedication to customer service excellence• Experience in medical, nursing and related education markets is a plusCompany DescriptionWe are a staffing firm focused on Professional, Technical and Engineering roles in Emerging and High Demand verticals including Medical Simulation, Flight Simulation, and Serious Gaming sectors.
