Job OverviewWe are seeking a Manager of Manufacturing Operations
to manage Flight Hardware Structures, Cable and Final Assembly for
it's Orlando, FL location. This position primarily will monitor the
work operations of the Structures, Cables and Final Assembly areas
on a daily basis and will actively assist and provide direction to

workplace.Essential Functions40% - Provide technical and
administrative supervision to the Flight Structures and Cable and
Final Assembly areas.20% - Schedule and utilize employees, material
and facilities to ensure that schedules and goals are met.10% -
Establish and maintain applicable records and reports monitoring
internal operating controls.10% - Provide training in manufacturing
techniques, policies and procedures and/or safety and environmental
procedures. 10% - Provide direction to employees as guided by
established policies and procedures. Interpret and execute policies
that affect supervised employees. 5% - Inspect and coordinate
maintenance of equipment. 5% - -Review designs for
manufacturability. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: -Other duties as
assigned.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and seven (7)
years of progressive experience is required or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Must have an understanding of mechanical designs for the build
of mechanical components.
- Must have a solid understanding of the integration of
sub-assemblies with cabling and mechanical components.
- Must have an understanding of the assembly and wiring of
electrical assemblies and componentsMust understand electrical
diagrams, mechanical drawings; technical documents.
- Must be skilled in the use of basic hand tools and related
diagnostic equipment.
- Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to
demonstrate strong mechanical assembly skills.
- Must understand advanced wiring methods knowledge including
proper connection, neatness, wire gauging and sizing.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail.
- Must adhere to all Company policies and guidelines.
- Must have good oral and written communications skill.
- Must be a good time management and multi-tasking skill.
- Must be a team player, working toward exceeding customer
expectation.
- Current IPC620 and J-STD-001 certifications desirable.
- Moderate computer skills are necessary.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft products:
EXCEL/WORD/Project/PowerPointMay be required to obtain and maintain
a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S.
Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S.
Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for
access to government information, and having dual citizenship may
preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.Work
Environment and Physical Requirements:While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to
finger, handle or feel items. The employee is regularly expected to
stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel. The
employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety
glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. May also be required to work
in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment,
including a computer. These positions may be expected to work
varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of
activities in the organization.
