Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Title: - Product Manager IT Mobile Experience Location: - Long Island City, NY, US, 11101 Orlando, FL, US, 32827 Salt Lake City, UT, US, 84121 Category: - Information Technology Position Title: Product Manager IT Digital & Customer Products (Mobile Apps & Notifications) Position Summary The Product Manager, IT Digital & Customer Products (Mobile Apps & Notifications) reports to the IT Manager Mobile Apps & Notifications and will be responsible for helping to define JetBlue's overall mobile strategy and building and growing JetBlue's consumer facing mobile products. The Product Manager will serve as an internal expert on mobile trends and technology and ensure that the Company effectively engages with consumers through mobile channels and continuously expands its value-added services. The Product Manager will define product feature sets, manage user experience (UX) and design and collaborate with internal and external partners. The Product Manager, IT Digital & Customer Products (Mobile Apps & Notifications) is a key member of the IT Digital Experience team and enjoys interacting with people at different levels within and outside of the organization. The Product Manager should be a mobile enthusiast and is passionate about delivering mobile products that optimize and enhance the end-to-end JetBlue travel experience. The Product Manager is comfortable working on high profile assignments, is motivated by determining new ways to improve processes, excels at detail-oriented projects, can manage changing priorities and perform well under stress and time constraints, and whose personal values match JetBlue's values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun.

  • Serve as a liaison between the Mobile Apps team and internal and external partners to determine prioritization of items, lead business requirements development, review current/approaching releases, and ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) government rules
  • Define and communicate the product's vision, goals, roadmap, and strategy to the cross-functional teams
  • Specify business and functional requirements for mobile product enhancements and modifications
  • Work and collaborate closely with our design agency, development and quality assurance (QA) teams to efficiently launch innovative mobile features and products on-time and on-budget
  • Oversee the day-to-day development of JetBlue's mobile apps and notifications programs
  • Advise on mobile design and usability issues across the JetBlue digital ecosystem
  • Research, prototype and recommend emerging technologies integration into JetBlue's other core business functions
  • Work with various Commercial teams to understand their business needs and deliver appropriate mobile solutions
  • Coordinate content updates on mobile platforms
  • Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT or Mobile Marketing Technology; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
    • Three (3) years of product management experience
    • Knowledge of industry standards in project management and development methodologies (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Agile Methods, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Project, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, Word and Visio
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions to inform roadmap and strategic vision
    • Knowledge of technology fundamentals and concepts (Microsoft technologies preferred)
    • Knowledge of IT disciplines and interdependencies
    • Ability to rapidly resolve issues and recognize when escalation is necessary -
    • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and resolution skills -
    • Excellent problem solving and structured thinking skills -
    • Flexibility, agility, and change management skills -
    • Ability to tailor communication style to different audiences, and to exercise good judgment in frequency and nature of communications to different parties (senior management, stakeholders, team members, etc.).
    • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
    • Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
    • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
    • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
    • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Experience and Qualifications
      • Two (2) years of experience in the mobile industry
      • Mobile marketing, product development, and industry experience
      • Strong sense of Mobile App User Experience including knowledge of Google Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines
      • Manages cross-functional, medium-large-scale projects with internal teams and external business partners
      • Work with cross-digital platforms
      • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of mobile marketing trends; mobile usability, industry background
      • Basic understanding of ecommerce, customer relationship management (CRM) and social media & marketing
      • Knowledge of the airline industry
      • Regular attendance and punctuality
      • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
      • Able to maintain a professional appearance
      • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
      • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun
      • Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

            • The base pay range for this position is between $90,500.00 and $128,600.00 per year.
