Job Description *Position can be based nationally across the USA*
Position Purpose The Manager of 3PL Optimization within the
Strategic Operations team will be responsible for facilitating and
executing our plant operations supplier strategy. This work will
influence the total operational spend for Operations in the US.
This role will be an integral part of establishing processes and
leveraging data to drive increased cost efficiency while
maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role will also be
responsible for establishing and executing the operations
communication plan. This imperative work will serve to keep a
network of more than 100 service centers and 300 TPM's aligned
while building buy in across the network at all levels (from
Directors/VP's to plant-level-personnel). Major/Key
Accountabilities Establish management group supplier base and
strategy with both growth and regional/national strategy Design,
and align scorecard to inform the strategy and decision making
(including allowable tolerance ranges for performance) Standardize
and monitor 3PL Business Review expectations: cadence, content,
archiving of information (including standardized communications,
messaging) Host internal forum to ensure alignment across all
territory leads and any other major stakeholders Design operations
communication plan to ensure consistent, effective messaging across
both internal and external parties Participate in rate proposal
process, with eventual goal to streamline Establish and execute
formalized tollgates ahead of the contracts process Ensure
alignment of contractual terms between all US regions and adherence
to overall strategy within negotiations Implementation of
improvements to current operational processes while driving
consistency amongst the supply chain teams. Provide accurate ad hoc
analysis for Operations and Supply Chain partners. Measures All
operations cost metrics Adherence to annual established
communications plan Authority/ Decision Making * Influence on CHEP
US Supply Chain/Operations teams to execute on operational

party plant management groups Qualifications Essential
Qualifications BS in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing
or equivalent experience Desirable Qualifications MBA, Six Sigma
Green Belt Negotiation Experience Familiarity with building and
executing large-scale communication plans Experience * Supply Chain
or procurement experience (3-5 years) Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and Visio
skills Excellent project management, time management, and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Good organizational ability and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to learn complex tools and concepts quickly
High attention to detail and accuracy with ability to report
details in clear, concise summary for management SharePoint
Experience preferred Understanding of Supply Chain and Operations
including Customer Supply Chain Excellent written and oral
communication and presentation skills Experience with Six
Sigma/Lean methodologies preferred PMA - Positive Mental Attitude!
