Our client is one of the worlds leading contract furniture dealerships with offices nationwide.Job DescriptionOverviewSeeking a Vice President, Sales in Orlando, FLorTampa, FLoffice.This role will work closely with Executive Leadership to identify and develop strategic business goals and drive profitability for the region. This individual will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Orlando/Tampa office and be responsible for liaising with internal departments to foster a positive work environment.The role will also be responsible for working with our internal Sales teams to pursue new opportunities, allocate appropriate resources, and support account management and sales coordination to service the business. This individual will act as the point person as new opportunities come in from Sales and collaborate with them to assess the project size, support needs and appropriate deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:

  • Manage and drive the sales growth strategy and profitability for the Orlando/Tampa office
  • Serve as the go to leader for the office and train, develop and mentor staff members
  • Lead and develop the recruitment and retention efforts for the local office
  • Evaluates the performance/activities of the local sales team
  • Responsible for identifying and developing strategic client relationships
  • Promote the company brand in the industry, including Real Estate, General Contractor and/or Architect and Design communities
  • Forecast monthly sales targets and provide updates and reports to Executive Management
  • Act as a liaison between the Orlando/Tampa office and enterprise-wide departments and functions to foster a collaborative work environmentQualificationsSkills & Qualifications
    • BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field required
    • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the commercial furniture industry
    • Minimum of 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a sales role
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to drive process improvement and attention to detail
    • Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Additional Information
