Come make memories with us!General Purpose:As the Director of Revenue Management, your primary responsibility will be to optimize revenue across all business units by implementing effective revenue management strategies. This is a remote position with occasional travel to the resort required.Key Responsibilities:1.Website Connectivity to Booking Engine: Ensure seamless connectivity between the resort's website and the booking engine, ensuring accurate availability, rates, and inventory management. Collaborate with the IT team and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any connectivity issues promptly.2.PMS and Business Intelligence Tools: Possess a strong working knowledge of SMS, Visual One, DataVision, SynXis, and other Property Management Systems (PMS). Additionally, demonstrate proficiency in utilizing business intelligence and rate management tools to analyze data and make informed pricing and revenue decisions.3.Track Pulse Management/Executive Summary: Oversee the management of Track Pulse, a revenue management system, and prepare executive summaries to provide key stakeholders with an overview of revenue performance, market trends, and actionable insights.4.Rental Guardian Production/All Policies: Collaborate with the Rental Guardian team to optimize revenue and ensure compliance with all policies related to rental guarantees, damage protection, and insurance coverage for rental properties.5.Room Blocks for Special Events/Rates: Coordinate room blocks and negotiate special event rates with event organizers to maximize revenue while meeting guest and event requirements. Collaborate with the sales and events teams to align revenue management strategies with group bookings.6.Competitive Shops: Conduct regular competitive shops both locally and within the resort's gates to monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and positioning. Analyze the findings and adjust revenue management strategies accordingly.7.YoY RevPAR Growth/Comp Set Analysis: Monitor and analyze year-over-year revenue per available room (RevPAR) growth to identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct regular comp set analysis to benchmark performance against competitors and implement strategies to gain a competitive advantage.8.Ancillary Spend Maximization for All Business Units: Develop and implement strategies to maximize ancillary revenue across all business units, including food and beverage, spa, retail, and membership services. Collaborate with relevant departments to optimize pricing, packaging, and upselling opportunities.9.Revenue Analysis by Neighborhood/Membership/Rental Sales/F&B/Spa/Retail: Analyze revenue performance by neighborhood, membership segments, rental sales, and various business units. Identify revenue growth opportunities, recommend pricing adjustments, and collaborate with the respective teams to implement revenue-enhancing initiatives.10.Revenue Guarantees/Substitution Tables: Manage revenue guarantees and develop substitution tables to optimize revenue across different room types, packages, and promotions. Continuously evaluate and refine these tables to maximize revenue potential.11.Monthly Reporting of Metrics (All Business Units): Prepare and distribute monthly reports outlining key revenue metrics for all business units, including rooms, food and beverage, spa, retail, and membership. Present the reports to key stakeholders and provide actionable insights for performance improvement.Qualifications:---Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).---Proven experience in revenue management or related roles within the hospitality industry.---In-depth knowledge of PMS systems such as SMS, Visual One, DataVision, SynXis, and proficiency in business intelligence and rate management tools.---Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.---Excellent understanding of revenue management principles, strategies, and techniques.---Demonstrated track record of optimizing revenue and achieving RevPAR growth.---Familiarity with rental guarantees, insurance policies, and industry best practices.---Strong communication and presentation skills -Basic Required Skills: ----Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.---Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. ----Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. Must possess supervisory and management skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to employees.---Must possess computational ability. Must possess advanced computer skills. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, excel, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.---Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the rooms discipline and hospitality profession, including experiential knowledge for complex problems.---Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches. Ability to make decisions with only general policies and procedures available for guidance.Physical Requirements:---Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by environmental systems.---Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. ----Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the resort on a timely basis.---Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.---Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.---Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.---Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.---Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed. -
