ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Travel Industry Sales Manager - South America will be
responsible for the development and acquisition of new business by
securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and executing
sales strategies to maximize the profitability of the Regal Oaks
and Encantada Resorts while maintaining customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Sales Manager - South America, you will analyze local market
trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep
our Resorts as leader in the marketplace through the development of
future and repeat business.
-Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and
developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected
sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing
trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending
selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and
demand.
-Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer
requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's
strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business;
establishing targeted market share.
-Must observe the market, identity trend and monitor the main
competitors. Based on his/her notices he/she creates sales targets
depending on the tide of events
-Develop customer accounts and travel to increase market/customer
share in all revenue streams
-Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits;
exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
-Maximize partnership opportunities, maintain regular contact, and
ensure sales reporting with FIT, Wholesales, and any relevant
International Tour and Travel markets.
-Ensure a high level of communication, personal contact, and sales
reporting with all business partners.
-Attend Sales and trade events to promote the IDILIQ Group
-Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including
social media channels and interface with the group marketing,
digital and online marketing, and sales functions
-Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the
Head of senior management to include the reporting of appointments,
calls made, business leads and confirmed definite business as well
as competitor analysis
-Exploit all local and international markets to fulfil maximum
occupancy of each designated resort
-Undertake regular and report results internally
-Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating,
preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
-Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
