serve. Facilities and Business Operations: Facilities and Business
Operations is committed to providing service to faculty, staff,
students and the community by creating, maintaining, and protecting
the educational environment of the university. We support the goals

service. The Opportunity: The primary role of the Manager, Database
Services, is to oversee the development and implementation of a
reliability based Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
The incumbent will manage and ensure proper operation and data
quality of all Facilities & Business Operations databases,
including AiM, eBuilder, Traka, FuelMaster, and PDMS.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of the development,
implementation, integrations, operations, and configuration of the
Facilities and Business Operations e-Builder database, FuelMaster
database, PowerDMS database and Traka database. Oversee the
development of the Facilities & Business Operations external and
internal websites.
- Manage the development, sustainment, and distribution of Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all departments within the
division to measure the effective use of Reliability Centered
Maintenance techniques.
- Responsible for accurate and timely billing within the IWMS
system, to include: oversight of proper work order setup, refining
billing processes with all stakeholders, creation and delivery of
necessary billing reports to Finance & Accounting.
- Oversee and manage the development of reports and data
visualization in BIRT, SQL, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, or other
platforms for all F&BO databases.
- Develop and maintain the integrations between Facilities &
Business Operations databases and external or internal systems,
including, but not limited to, WorkDay, Peoplesoft, ServiceNow, and
Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Oversee the implementation of process flows as the subject
matter expert; from the initial setup of the database, prioritizing
work, planning and scheduling, supervision, line employee actions
and expectations, billing, and customers' expectations.
- Provide ad hoc information retrieval using a variety of system

years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or
equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of
degree. Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with reliability-based maintenance
programs and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional
(CMRP) designation is desirable.
- Must have excellent interpersonal relationship, change
management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with maintenance and
operations hourly and technical personnel as well as communicate
effectively with all levels of management.
- Experience interpreting and developing Key Performance
Indicators and policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience developing programs for overall
improvements in Facilities to increase efficiency and
effectiveness.
- Experience working with and managing confidential data,
including department budget. Special Instructions to the
