As the ultimate leader of the store, the General Manager is
accountable for every aspect of the restaurant and market
performance. They ensure all areas of the business are engaged,
achieving key results, and that the store is delivering a
world-class guest experience. They are responsible for hiring and
developing people, creating a culture where guests and team members
feel a deep sense of belonging and have the opportunity to grow
professionally. As a result, they ensure the restaurant runs
according to its core values and grows in line with company values
and directives. Leadership, People & Community: Create and foster a
respectful and inclusive team environment and culture. Coaches and
develops FOH and BOH teams to work in unison. Manages all
employee-related activities, i.e., hiring, training, developing,
and coaching for performance. Provides direction to build a strong
team to drive restaurant operations. Sets operation goals and holds
managers accountable for these goals. Support ongoing learning and
provide direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, continuous
development check-ins, and performance management with all
subordinate managers. Address all employee concerns and issues,
including knowing when to partner with internal support to take
appropriate action. Address emergent issues, including guest
escalations and urgent requests. Establish and increase brand
awareness in the community; plan and execute community events that
support Company initiatives and drive sales. Operations, Product,
and Strategy: Ensure guests consistently receive high quality food
and service in accordance with brand standards. Enforce sanitary
practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance
of kitchen and dining areas. Understand and adhere to people safety
policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures,
laws, and regulations. Budget Responsibility: Plan and execute
high-level quarterly and seasonal planning for restaurant with
respect to strategy, budget, and labor. Manage whole store profit
and loss (P&L) in accordance with goals (sales, budget, etc.).
Achieve budgeted goals for each accounting period, meeting EBITDA
goals. Implement and improve processes and management methods to
generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
Schedule/Availability: Work occurs on a variable schedule which
could include early mornings, mornings, afternoons, evenings, late
nights as well as weekends and holidays. Job Qualifications: High
school diploma, GED, or equivalent Bachelor's degree, or work
history experience equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience as a
GM or similar role Must be 21 years of age or older Must have Food
Handler certification in respective state Must have strong P&L,
budget, and sales forecasting experience Ability to prioritize and
balance multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to cope with
pressure, multiple deadlines, and working under pressure Ability to
develop high-performing, cohesive teams Ability to work effectively
and cooperatively with fellow Team Members Excellent oral and
written communication skills Demonstrated success motivating and
maintaining effective working relationships with all Team
