Job Description:

come.The Deputy Branch Manager works exclusively at our branch
office and manages the overall operation of the branch and ensuring
all employees are aware of their job responsibilities to the
company and customers. -We are looking for someone who has a deep
understanding of distribution, warehouse, and sales processes and
demonstrated a track record of exceeding goals. -This role is key
to the company's success in getting our food products to our
customers. -This role will be responsible to manage the entire
branch operation and hold each department accountable to achieve
operational and financial goals and ensure compliance with all
company and government rules and regulations.
- Oversee, manage, and be responsible for the day-to-day business
operation of the branch and financial results while following
corporate guidelines/ instructions.
- Hold Sales Managers accountable for all levels of sales
operation, which includes but is not limited to evaluating
territory performance against established objectives/ guidelines
(sale forecast, budget, number of new accounts, gross margin, etc.)
and taking appropriate action to improve performance.
- Manage Logistics Manager for all levels of logistics operation,
which includes but is not limited to planning, directing, and
re-evaluating delivery routes to ensure maximum performance
relative to product delivery, service, and good customer relations.
- -Follow corporate instructions in designing, and implementing
continuous logistics strategies, and inventory management for
greater warehouse optimization.
- Manage Operation Manager for all levels of general office
operation, which includes but is not limited to office
effectiveness and efficiency in all administrative functions (data
processing, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, record keeping, and
inventory management).
- Control branch assets, including inventory, receivables, and
payables to maximize bottom-line performance, reduce carrying
costs, and satisfy customers.
- Responsible for inventory control procedures, including
reconciling inventory, coordinating inventory returns and repairs,
and assisting in physical inventory counting.
- Implements and ensures consistent compliance with standard
operating procedures, policies, and internal audit controls as
required.
- Responsible for managing and executing branch annual budget,
including forecast of capital expenditures and future growth
opportunities to maximize sales, gross profit, and operating income
while reducing SG&A expense.Experience/ Training/ Education:The
ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and experience in
direct people management/ supervision in the Wholesales/
Distribution industry (Food industry preferred) in office, sales,
logistics, compliance, safety, and human resource management.
-Require excellent computer skills, including extensive experience
utilizing Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), Oracle
ERP system, and warehouse management systems; Demonstrated
capability to manage high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective
operations. -Experience in financial / profit dynamics of branch
operation.Knowledge/ Skills/ Ability:Business and management
principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation,
leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of
people and resources; Principles and processes for providing
customer and personal services, including customer needs
assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating
customer satisfaction; Knowledge in math and financial acumen to
assess financial implications of their decision; Knowledge of human
resource management principles and procedures; Knowledge of
business and management principles involved in strategic planning,
resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique,
production methods, and coordination of people and resource;
Knowledge in the principles and procedures for personnel
recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and
labor relations; Knowledge of principles and methods for showing,
promoting, and selling products or services; creating sales
strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and
sales control systems; -Knowledge of various government rules and
regulations that affect branch operation (i.e. Department of
Transportation (DOT) Regulations, Department of Labor (DOL),
Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and
regulations); Knowledge of basic food safety for ensuring consumer
health; Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and
interpersonal skills; Strong team player who is able to work across
multiple functions and disciplines; Leadership skills are pertinent
to providing and seeking out continuing education opportunities and
fostering a growth mindset; Decision-making skills are key to
weighing the costs and benefits of various options and determining
the best course of action to achieve company goals; Excellent
communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and
Excel; Ability to oversee and manage overall business operation
units at the branch office (Sales/ Operation/ Logistics); Ability
to make sound judgement to control branch operation and market
penetration, which results in profit and operating income growth
without affecting customer satisfaction; Ability to use Oracle ERP
software; Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and
complete them under various time constraints; Ability to speak
clearly, so others can understand you; Ability to use logic and
reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative
solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Compensation and
