This role is about advancing and integrating our member data with pioneering approaches that have broad impact to our customer experience organization. It's about leveraging our current foundational data infrastructure and enhancing it so that members are presented with relevant messages at the right time and in the right channel. This person will lead a team of Business Data Analysts and will be expected to quickly become a data expert within the organization. They will be comfortable working cross functionally in executing multiple data projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with solid attention to detail and a bias towards action. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on leader responsible to lead consultative engagements regarding new data requirements to support new communication types and strategic initiatives
  • Provide program oversight for strategic initiatives and directives with an emphasis on high effective implementation, but also continuous program development and engagement
  • Supervise business and operations data leads, responsible for guidance, support, performance, direction and outcomes
  • Contribute to the execution of the Consumer Engagement Platform data roadmap including initiatives related to data quality, data unification, data governance, data movement / ETL and data access
  • Work with business counterparts on operational readiness activities to ensure that necessary training and procedure updates have occurred
  • Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
  • Master knowledge of the systematic processing of data from upstream source systems through our Consumer Engagement Platform to downstream sources along with supporting business function
  • Anticipates and mitigates risk, meets, and manages customer expectations, increases customer confidence, manages business solution delivery and any issues that arise, and prioritizes and escalates appropriately
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand business needs, facilitate the creation of features and user stories You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 7+ years of leadership experience in an operations environment (preferably Data Engineering or Marketing Data Operations)
    • 5+ years of people leading experience
    • 4+ years of data background and proficiency in concepts like Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Engineering, and Marketing/Campaign generation
    • Demonstrated success using the principles and processes of customer service including identifying customer needs, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluating & improving customer service results
    • Ability to maintain and interpret accurate data and prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other written materials Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with Netezza or Azure
      • Experience with Healthcare data
      • Experience with marketing automation capabilities
      • Project management experience
      • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and maintain a positive attitude
      • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and constantly shifting timelines in a fast-paced complex environment
      • Superior leadership, problem solving, team building and decision-making skills
      • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally both orally and in writing
      • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
