Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) - Lead the best and brightest in technology to transform health care as we know it. - - As an Associate Training Director with Optum Technology University, you will be responsible for conducting training needs analysis and recommending training curricula for various areas of the organization. You will work with leaders to understand their strategic priorities determining how training can support their goals. You will engage with learners to understand their needs. You will collaborate with your teammates who own various learning topics to determine which content can be used to create the recommended curricula and identify any content gaps that need to be filled. As a part of our training team, you bring in new ideas on how we continuously improve our training programs and lead key strategic initiatives. - We are a collaborative team that shifts our work to focus on our highest priorities which means we all pitch in to get work done regardless of title or role. We are looking for someone with strong adult learning experience who is creative, innovative, can quickly build strong relationships while executing quickly to bring work to completion. - You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. - Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recommend strategic learning and technology solutions that support learning priorities and lead to business impact
  • Provide ongoing consultation for clients, including senior leaders, to identify and assess learning & development needs
  • Develop curricula partnering with stakeholders and your content expert peers
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in adult learning theory and learning technology -
  • Demonstrate leadership presence and confidence interacting with senior stakeholders to understand needs
  • Demonstrate the poise, confidence, and talent to handle multiple projects with the highest level of quality
  • Model a growth mindset and personal habits that foster continuous learning
  • Participate in continuously innovating our Training Strategy -
  • Ensure relevant metrics are defined and captured to demonstrate training effectiveness

Required Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education
      • 5+ years of Training and Development experience -
      • Experience designing educational curriculum
      • Experience working with senior level leadership Preferred Qualifications:
        • Experience working with or in a Technology Organization -

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
