- FULLY REMOTE / TEXAS MARKETSummary: The Business Developer
Manager works remotely, manages an assigned territory, driving
profitable premium growth to achieve topline/bottom line financial
and operational goals. Under limited to moderate supervision,
manages broad and diverse Franchise partnerships, potentially over
multiple states, and optimizes territory performance.Essential
Duties And Responsibilities
- Creates, implements and executes territory and agency
strategies to achieve goals using all company programs, tools and
resources.
- Conducts agency outreach, via in-person visits, audio or video
conferences.
- Monitor performance of assigned Agents against
expectations.
- Manages assigned territory profitable growth to achieve
financial targets.
- Leads and responsible for territory and agency management
processes across territories.
- Builds and cultivates mutually beneficial agency partnerships
with agency ownership, management and frontline staff. Establishes
position as a trusted advisor while delivering product,
underwriting philosophy, appetite, system training, support
retention and new business development to maximize agency revenue.
Ability to train both agency owners and licensed producers how to
run an agency, including client management, cross sell techniques,
follow up, and system/quoting platform proficiency.
- Using data analysis, insights, franchisee or territory feedback
and local marketplace expertise, create and execute high-quality
agency strategies to achieve direct written premium, profit and new
business goals. Plans include strategic and tactical components
including agency marketing for new referral sources and potential
leads, cross selling opportunities, franchise staff hiring
opportunities & new product/program rollout support.
- Collaborates, influences, and supports internal business
partners (Compliance, Franchise Sales, Training, Agency Services,
IT, Marketing and Accounting) to identify and capitalize on
opportunities, solve problems, share key competitor and industry
intel and provide voice of our agent/customer.
- Utilize data dashboards analytics to facilitate business
discussions with franchises to measure production and
profitability.
- Provides guidance on overall organizational initiatives and
contributes ideas for continuous improvement.
- Prepares regular written reports for senior managers regarding
project status and keeps Senior Managers informed of project
direction and renegotiates direction as necessary.
- Makes presentations regarding project direction and
recommendations to Senior Managers.
- Partners with the analytics team to prepare appropriate
reporting, analyze data, and make recommendations/decisions
regarding initiatives.
- Possess a complete understanding of the regional and national
carrier appetites, guidelines and product offerings to maximize new
business growth and in force policy retention.Qualifications: To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

functions.Education/Experience: Minimum of 7 years as an agent
and/or field representative for Personal Lines insurance carrier.
Preferred bachelor's in communications/business.Language Ability:
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition,
and grammar.Math Ability: The ability to choose the right
mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.Reasoning
Ability: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to
problemsComputer Technical Skills: To perform this job
successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of
Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
and Outlook and Internet browser applications. Must be able to use
a variety of office equipment, including scanner, copier, fax
machine, and calculator. Understanding of data management using
Power BI or equivalent a plus.Physical Demands: While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to
stand; walk; talk and hear; sit for extended periods of time; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The
employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 15 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Travel
Required: 80% travel required. Mileage reimbursement available.We
Insure currently requires all employees as a condition of
employment to either be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or submit to
regular testing. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks
after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after
the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. We Insure will also require
proof of vaccination and/or testing. We Insure will also consider
requests for exemption from these requirements as a reasonable
