If so, apply today!!!Stanford Hotels is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team!The Marketing Manager is committed to building brand value, creating revenue driving promotions, and long-term loyalty throughout the marketing ecosystem for the Stanford Hotels portfolio. The individual will lead creative efforts behind social content development, fan interaction, and reputation monitoring. You will operate as a part of the results oriented marketing team. The manager will be responsible for collaboration between hotel teams, agencies, and above-property leadership. As a creative problem solver, the manager will optimize marketing platforms, messaging while creating the maximum value for the hotels and company. The individual will be an innovative thinker able to focus on the consumer and driving topline results. The individual in this position will collaborate on all aspects of marketing including; advertising, website management, content creation, agency management and collateral production.Salary starts at $85,000 based on experience.This position can be REMOTE.We would consider candidates in the following areas: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Herndon/DC Metro area, and Orlando, FL.Job Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with hotel teams to drive marketing strategies
  • Writing copy, proofing, and developing content as needed across all channels (website, social media, print, email)
  • Acting as a resource to the field and corporate staff as it relates to all marketing opportunities
  • Participating in the branding and rebranding of managed assets including hotels and restaurants
  • Serving as a communication conduit and counsel for all marketing programs with both internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies
  • Developing promotional opportunities to increase sales
  • Moderate all incoming guest/customer feedback on review sites and social media channels via listening tools
  • Crafting responses for problematic reviews, coaching properties on response voice and frequency
  • Creating, managing and optimizing directory sites including Google, Yelp and Tripadvisor
  • Monitor the online presence of hotel portfolio for accuracy, photo updates, analyze competitors, look for opportunities to improve appearance, ranking, search
  • Managing budgets and analyzing overall effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Improving internal processes
  • Communicates all marketing programs to the field and corporate staff and acts as a resource in assessing marketing opportunities.
  • Assists hotel property teams with developing annual media plans and provides marketing guidance.
  • Analyzes marketing plan effectiveness. Researches new marketing opportunities. Develops focus groups to analyze customer needs and travel trends.
  • Works with outside PR vendors to create press releases as needed. Provides guidance on PR and promotional opportunities to increase sales.
  • Understand market conditions and their potential marketing value to maximize market share.
  • Create email campaigns (including written and visual content), segment and generate email lists, monitor email marketing performance
  • Works with internal partners to define marketing plan scope and objectives.
  • Develops marketing collateral and messaging.
  • Reviews and tracks status of marketing campaigns and provides updates and ongoing analysis to parties involved.
  • Remain flexible to the needs of the business
    Job Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience in the hospitality industry
    • Business Marketing or Communications degree preferred
    • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
    • Strong competency in all social media platforms
    • Detail-oriented and analytical
    • Good sense of design and ability to conceptualize requested products
    • Ability to juggle a variety of projects and handle the stress associated with multiple deadlines
    • Good communicator both written and orally
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Basic understanding of website development, search engine optimization, and search engine marketing
    • Ability to analyze marketing opportunities and ad effectiveness
    • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
    • Ability to use computer keyboard telephone and other related business equipment
    • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward project completion
    • Preferred experience with the following systems; Revinate, Clairvoyix, Drupal CMS, Medallia
