Job Description

  • Lead the product portion of customer engagements to ensure effective positioning of the Commercial Property Underwriting solution's value proposition and customer understanding of the product capabilities
  • Manage day-to-day customer engagement activities of the Commercial Property market facing group, including:
  • Building customer and vendor relationships
  • Monitoring and analysis of customer trends,
  • Utilization analysis of current products,
  • Segmentation of current and prospective customers,
  • Own developing and executing strategies for current and prospective customers that allow the company to achieve its objectives,
  • Development of pricing proposals and customer presentations,
  • Identifying product enhancements through voice of the customer outreach,
  • Implementing marketing initiatives in support of driving revenue growth within Commercial Property
  • Liaise between product colleagues, finance, marketing, and sales to ensure streamlined messaging driven by customer needs and how existing and emerging Verisk capabilities can solve these needs
  • Provide industry thought leadership through white papers, articles, presentations, conferences, and customer conversations
  • Drive revenue goals for the growth of Commercial Property business
    • 5+ years commercial insurance underwriting or product management experience in a customer facing role
    • Quantitative background with a focus on high quality data and analytics
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.--- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal staff and external stakeholders
    • Understands the basics of technology and the convergence of software, and data in support of automated product delivery
    • Self-starter comfortable digging into the details of a challenging quantitative problem to solve customer needs
    • Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills; business creativity is a must
    • Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • 30% travel
