Job Title : Plumbing Project Manager
Department : Commercial Installation
Job Relationships : Supervised by Operations Manager
Supervises : Field Personnel & Subcontractors
Purpose : Ensure quality & Cost-Effective Installation of the PLUMBING System
Responsibilities :

• Set up job schedule
• Assists with preparation of submittals and shop drawings
• Prepare material lists for shop fabrication and vendors order misc. materials required for installation of PLUMBING system
• Purchasing of bought items (assisted by Vice President)
• Complete purchase orders and subcontracts. File in pending submittal book pending approval
• Brief foreman on project and communicate daily on job progress and needs. Communicate weekly on individual performance of men.
• Visit job on a weekly basis
• Supervises Safety / Haz-com programs and quality
• Attend project meetings as required
• Maintain plans files and cut lists
• Correspondence with general contractor and pricing for change orders required
• Job close-out (operation and maintenance manuals / as builds / test & balance). Qualifications :
  Minimum of 5 year's experience in trade . High School education or equivalent. in-depth knowledge of duct work, air distribution and equipment installation. Ability to work without supervision. Good written and communication skills. Minimum of 1-year drafting and estimating experience.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. Often required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Must be able to wear a face cover/mask for COVID-19 reasons. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Manage project resources across multiple projects or project phases
  • Present project information to project team

  • Facilitating project status meetings and communicating project status to key project stakeholders
  • Resolve project issues and manage project risks
  • Manage project budget and project resource allocation
  • Manage project timelines using accepted project management methodology
  • Serve as project lead on projects with multiple project management staff
  • Meet project objectives while managing project hours
  • Validating project budget against estimated project costs
  • Manage project artifacts for the project
  • Prepare project plans, manage and track project execution activities for project teams
  • Achieve project objectives across the project portfolio
  • Monitor project execution/performance, project reporting and project resource allocations
  • Create project briefs and project schedules
  • Support defined project plans and project goals
  • Updating internal project management system
  • Complete project deliverables in accordance with project plan
  • Lead the project team to ensure project objectives
