Now is your chance to join our talented team that delivers unparalleled creative content to audiences around the world!Hone your skills in an exciting field:The IZEA Professional Selling Program (IPSP) is an entry-level program designed to provide recent college graduates and sales professionals with less than 2 years of experience under their belts with a best in class sales training experience in the exciting Social and Content Marketing industry. Focusing on an integrative approach, the program features a cross-functional, company-wide learning experience within IZEA's Managed Services Organization.IPSP candidates will participate in three distinct phases of the program. These phases are designed to educate on all things social/content marketing, measure sales acumen and performance, and grow professional capabilities. Candidates will adhere to rigorous testing and review standards while continuing to develop, nurture, and leverage the necessary skills to become a successful salesperson in our space. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for various opportunities within the Managed Services Sales team at IZEA. While not everyone will "graduate", each candidate will be awarded an IZEA Sales Process professional certification at the end of the formal training period.Program Overview:The next IPSP class is starting in March and consists of two training phases: IZEA Classroom and Practical Application. Throughout the program, you will be placed in a cohort of other candidates and will all work together to learn the basics, apply your skills, and sell-through to clients.The IZEA Classroom phase will consist of a 30-day intensive training regime where you'll learn and test against everything from IZEA's values to industry specifics and the way that we sell. This phase will take place in EST (Eastern Standard Time Zone). The next 60-day Practical Applications phase will take that classroom knowledge and apply it to outbound prospecting as you start to build a book of business.At the end of your first 90 days with IZEA, we will conduct a full review of your test scores, ability to apply what you've learned, and overall fit with the company. Those that pass this portion of the program will be awarded an achievement bonus and are invited to participate in a 90-day ramping period where you will continue to hone your skills and attain interim quota goals.What We're Looking For:* A recent college graduate or sales professional with less than 2 years of experience that has a desire to learn the ropes and what it takes to become a successful seller in the influencer and content marketing space.* An intuition for people. With your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you have the ability to communicate to all audiences -- whether it's an intern or a C-level executive in the company - but more importantly, outside of it.* The instinct for self-improvement and a propensity to measure your performance. You have a proven track record of professional or personal development. You have a yearning to learn and apply your skills to be the best.* Highly motivated self-starter capable of the team and individual work* Strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure you're appropriately tracking not only your relationships you're building but your own personal growth.* BA/BS degree required; MBA valued, but the real-life experience is always preferred.* A desire to become a sales professional in IZEA's Managed Services Department* Has a reliable computer and internet that is able to support video conferencing. A working computer will be provided upon graduation.What You Can Expect:* Building Your Expertise: Strengthen your Professional Selling skills through concentrated work in the areas of Prospecting, Inbound/Outbound, Closing Techniques, and the IZEA sales process.* Professional Development: IPSP candidates will participate in classroom learning as well as certifications in relevant fields like inbound marketing, SEO, SEM, and content development.* Expanding Your Network: Opportunities to meet with peers and senior leaders from the many different businesses across the industries we serve.* Formal Mentorship: IPSP candidates will be led by a senior-level manager who will provide ongoing development, leadership insights, and direction to help make the 6-month program even more valuable. Opportunities for informal mentorship and partnership will also happen throughout the program as candidates interact with IZEA's various departments.* Pipeline to a full-time permanent position at IZEA: The IPSP provides the necessary resources and tools to become a successful seller. As part of the program, top candidates will be assigned to respective sales positions within IZEA's Managed Services Organization where they will enjoy a professionally challenging and potentially lucrative career.
