Senior Manager, Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Wyndham Destinations is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Performance Management in Orlando, Florida. The Senior Manager position reporting to the VP, Global Financial Systems and Shared Applications is a management position responsible for supporting and maintaining the Enterprise Performance Management application suite including but not limited to Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, and FDMEE & Smartview. This position interacts with all levels of Information Technology staff and engage in partnership with all levels, of the stakeholder community in ensuring accurate & timely financial consolidation as well as enabling high quality reporting and data analytics. The position of Senior Manager is responsible for implementing, documenting, maintaining, and supporting the technical environment of the Enterprise Performance Management applications including Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), and Financial Data Quality management (FDMEE). This position will be responsible for all strategic, tactical, operational, financial, and technical resource managerial responsibilities pertaining to this area and be able to operate as a visible and accountable leader for the practice. The individual should have familiarity with industry standards, architecture artifacts and methodologies with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs in written communications. Administrative responsibilities include organizational planning, budgeting, operations management, coordination & communications, performance management, mentoring, training and vendor management. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for architecting, designing, implementing and supporting Hyperion applications including Essbase (ASO & BSO), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality management (FDMEE) and Shared Services. - Lead and mentor multiple disciplines/technology team to support EPM initiatives across Business Units - Responsible for troubleshooting issues, patching, upgrades, test scripts, user training, administration and documentation for Incident and Change Management - Knowledge of building Planning applications and Essbase cubes is required as well as creating calc scripts, business rules, load rules and MAXL scripts. Knowledge of budgeting & forecasting in Hyperion Planning and performing the monthly roll process is preferred. Working knowledge of financial and accounting methods and procedures is desired. - Primary responsibility of this position will be to understand the requirements, help in defining solution, formulate the design and participate as the technical lead in the implementation of complex information delivery solutions that will leverage and integrate data from multiple sources into Hyperion applications - The candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity. A key success factor in this role is the ability to manage and maintain strong customer communications thru the lifecycle of the project or deliverable. - The candidate must be flexible to work in a 24/7 support environment and work on all EPM tools and technology used within the company. The candidate is expected to work on all departmental jobs as assigned by the manager and provide status reports, timesheets as required - Training and mentoring other Hyperion resources within team. - Individual must have a broad conceptual understanding of capabilities and direction of technology, along with the ability to rapidly learn technical/business techniques and disciplines of special value to the systems supported. Possesses a working knowledge of the business and/or technical environments in which the system operates and a solid knowledge of the business function supported. The individual should have familiarity with industry standard architecture artifacts and methodologies with the ability to clearly articulate technical designs in written communications. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Systems - 8 + years of hand-on experience and 4 + years leadership experience on Oracle Enterprise Performance Management products - Have successful leadership of multiple Hyperion upgrades in all aspects of planning, designing, and developing business requirements as well as in technical implementation - Demonstrated experience in working side by side with implementation partners - Demonstrated knowledge across infrastructure disciplines and technologies and has a broad understanding of IT standards and methodologies. - Experience and/or solid understanding of multi-dimensional data modeling with cubes - Communication and problem solving skills in order to effectively work with a variety of individuals and departments inside and outside company - Analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile data according to company and departmental procedures and policies. - Ability to multitask and be flexible with hours in order to meet requirements and deadlines - Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills - Demonstrates good personal time management skills, including punctuality, time reporting and completion of assigned tasks within agreed time frames - Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies, and tasks. - Strong leadership skills/experience including the ability to map task interdependencies, multi-task, prioritize such tasks, meet deadlines, and develop, monitor and live within budgets as well as the demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones. - Strong leadership skills including partnership, mentoring teams for professional development and a passion to demonstrate personal value proposition through delivery of outstanding business enabling solutions in EPM - Ability to define standards, KPIs, SLAs and manage delivery & application support vendor partners in ensuring highly available and reliable financial systems - Preferred candidate will also demonstrate solid knowledge and direct experience in selecting, implementing and operating EPM suite of systems on the cloud with a thorough understanding of the technical pros/cons of cloud vs. on-prem paradigmDESIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATIONS: - Global Consolidation, Planning and Analytics related platform certifications - ITIL Foundations - PMIWyndham Destinations (NYSE:WYND) believes in putting the world on vacation.
