Engineer to join our tight-knit group. Fleet Ballistic Missiles
(FBM) is one of Lockheed Martin’s premier lines of businesses that

is for an Propulsion Engineer that collaborates well in a team
environment, has excellent communication skills, and is comfortable
working both individually and as part of a team. In this role you
will support the engineering team by performing preliminary and
detailed level component and system design, development, and
integration for flight as well as ground systems. Your duties will
include responsibility for the design, manufacture, procurement and
test for the propulsion system components and assemblies. Other
duties may include: •Support subsystem integration •Assist on the
conceptual development, requirements definition, and design of
propulsion components •Perform trade studies to select the
appropriate design solution •Develop product performance
specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements
for components •Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and
technical analyses to support systems and components •Provide
requirements flow-down, verification, and maintain technical
baseline at the suppliers •Ability to work on a multi-disciplined
team performing structural design trades, detailed design/analysis
activity and performance and maintenance assessments of operational
systems. •Support dynamic test definitions, requirements
development, test monitoring, data reduction, and comparison to
analysis efforts. •Provide user documentation and recommendations
to data packages to support peer and customer reviews, present
analysis data to engineering teams, customer technical
representatives, and Program Office personnel at technical
interchange meetings and design review. Basic Qualifications •
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field; and/or
combination of education and experience • Knowledge of mechanical
CAD modeling and drafting (Creo or equivalent) • Understanding of
mechanical and propulsion engineering principals • Ability to
obtain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required Desired skills
•Familiarity with Propulsion system integration •Experience with
Pedigree review •Ability to perform Risk evaluation and assessment
•Formal experience with analysis and documentation (written
reports) •Exposure to complex systems thinking •Knowledge of
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) •Familiarity with
proposals and contracts •Hands on Hardware experience •User of CREO
CAD software •Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent
fields •Knowledge of Requirement development and management
•Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation and
interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be
performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work
Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance
Information This position requires a government security clearance,
you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual
base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts,
and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado,
Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont,
Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state
applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at
least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for

for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of
Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,
and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the
calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$80,600 - $139,840. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
