opened an opening for a Supportability Engineer - Avionics - to
join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is
located in Melbourne, FL . This position is fully onsite with no

Essential Functions: Identify, analyze, quantify and influence
logistics requirements to support a weapon system including spares,
Support Equipment, technical data, training, facilities, and
personnel Interface with vehicle engineering to influence weapon
system design for supportability Initiate and perform trade studies
Perform detailed maintenance task analysis Determine overall weapon
support system requirements Succeed The individual we seek will be

following qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
from an accredited university with 2 years previous experience
working in an Engineering or Technical position OR a Master’s
Degree in STEM with 0 years’ experience. Must have a basic
understanding of electrical engineering Prior experience in systems
engineering, system design concepts and maintenance of mechanical
systems Knowledge of design and database tools (NX/CPLM) and
possess ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and
parts list Your ability to transfer and maintain the final
adjudicated government Secret clearance , and any program access
(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time,
as determined by the company Preferred Qualifications: Master’s
degree in a STEM field Active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Current
Special Program Access (PAR/SAP). Experience with testability,
troubleshooting, faulty trees and/or FMECA. Navy aircraft
maintenance experience in an aircraft carrier environment. A&P

Flight Software Display Staff Engineer to join our team of
qualified, diverse individuals within our software organization.
The location for this opportunity is Melbourne, Florida and will be
primarily based within our office spaces to support the program and
business needs. Operating on our 9/80 schedule, meaning you will
get every other Friday off. The position has NO remote or Hybrid
work available . In this role you will be supporting critical
design, development, integration, and test of flight critical
display software using software engineering best practices and
standards. The selected candidate will develop this software
implementing principles of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Essential
Functions: Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs
applications software and systems that contain logical and
mathematical solutions Conducts multidisciplinary research and
collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in
the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic
data processing systems for product and commercial software
Determines computer uses needs; analyzes system capabilities to
resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data
acquisition, programming techniques and control Ensures software
standards are met Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a
Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
from an accredited university and at least 12 years’ experience, or
STEM master’s degree with 10 years’ experience, or a STEM PHD with
8 years’ experience. Experience developing in C/C++ for real-time,
flight critical systems Experience with OpenGL Cameo Experience
Experience designing, developing, integrating, verifying and
qualifying safety-critical real-time embedded computing systems
including experience with software and systems engineering.
Experience and demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical
teams responsible for all aspects of safety-critical system
development including job analysis, new product design, system
architecture, software development, system integration and working
with customers and other stakeholders to perform requirement
definition Your ability to transfer and maintain the final
adjudicated Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in
Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the
position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the
Company. Preferred Qualifications: Experience and demonstrated
ability to lead and manage technical teams responsible for all
aspects of safety-critical system development including job
analysis, new product design, system architecture, software
development, system integration and working with customers and
other stakeholders to perform requirement definition Experience
developing BOEs and supporting IMS and IFC planning Experience
managing a product team and delivering periodic releases in a
process-driven environment for a government customer Real time
computer graphics and OpenGL or Vulkan. Linear algebra Coordinate
system transformations. Performance profiling and optimization.
AGILE training for Scrum Master and Product Owner Git source
control knowledge and Atlassian Suite (Jira, BitBucket, etc)
knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability
to work effectively as part of a large team environment in both
leadership and individual contributor roles. AS-FA3 Primary Level
Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00 The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime,
shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base
pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions
as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees
in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long
Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety
