Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Configuration Management
Specialist to join our Optical and Photonic Solutions production
team in Orlando, Florida and lead the team in maintaining product
configuration control. Responsibilities: Evaluate and improve
configuration management within CACI’s production operations,
leading continuous improvement initiatives. Create and deploy
training materials to ensure compliance with configuration
management processes. Supervise change management, version control,
and release management processes. Collaborate with and mentor
cross-functional teams to ensure compliant configuration management
practices. Conduct configuration audits and generate reports and
dashboards for stakeholders. Develop and maintain configuration
management plans and documentation. Manage the configuration
management database and ensure its accuracy. Ensure compliance with
DoD and CACI configuration management policies and standards.
Define configuration management plans for key programs. Ensure all
engineering change requests are properly documented, reviewed,
approved, and communicated promptly. Generate, populate, and submit
change requests, including managing compilation and synthesis of
impact analyses. Execute and implement change notices, ensuring
completion of change implementation activities. Provide insights
into the integrity and efficacy of the change process. Manage and
curate program configuration data required for critical design gate
reviews. Lead critical configuration management activities and
forums, including setting agendas, organizing meetings, leading
discussions, and communicating decisions. Analyze product baselines
and Bills of Materials for compliance with standards. Support
configuration management reviews and audits, and provide direction
to prevent or resolve issues. Perform periodic audits of as-built
records and product definition data. Act as a cross-functional
facilitator to manage and implement engineering changes. Serve as
the local expert resource for Product Engineering Release and
Change Management standards. Qualifications: BA/BS degree in a
technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a configuration
management (CM) specialist Proven experience in developing and
maintaining comprehensive configuration management plans,
procedures, and standards. (Product structure, parts, drawings and
requirements management). Demonstrated experience working in a high
rigor environment (aerospace, space etc.) Experience with product
lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management toolsets for
configuration management of complex products Strong knowledge of CM
best practices and industry standards. Advanced proficiency in
using a variety of configuration management tools and databases.
Advanced proficiency in Infor LN is strongly preferred. Ability to
work independently with limited supervision and mentor lower-level
professionals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills –
you must have an ability to synthesize complex quantitative data
into clear decision statements. Proficient in Microsoft Office
applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be a US person Ability
to obtain and hold a US Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures
Experience with Infor Database skills with SQL, queries, etc.
Certification in CM2 or equivalent configuration management

factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited
to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
