our culture. About the Position: In the Field Controls Engineer
role, you will support the Florida Technical Support Center (TSC)
in resolving system issues, conduct controls-related services at
customer sites, prepare equipment for installation, perform water
system startup, and complete critical project documents. Your
primary job responsibilities include the following: Troubleshoot
system issues with TSC personnel Conduct controls related repair,
maintenance, or calibration services at customer sites Maintain a
working knowledge of the instrumentation used across systems
Provide project documentation relating to instrumentation and
controls components, as applicable Develop well documented,
user-friendly PLC and HMI programs using current programming
software from Rockwell Automation and Siemens Execute special
projects and other duties, as assigned Manage time and workload to
meet Company needs Qualifications: BS degree in Electrical
Engineering or 5 years of equivalent experience Experience with
Microsoft Office Suite, PLC ladder logic programming, HMI
application development Familiarity of industrial instrumentation
and control components and systems including, but not limited to,
PLC/PAC, analyzers, sensors, valves, power supplies, wiring
devices, variable frequency drives, and motor control Proficiency
in these software packages is preferred: RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000,
FactoryTalk View Studio Ability to read and design electrical
schematics Aptitude to troubleshoot industrial control systems
Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, results-oriented,
organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure
from multiple ongoing projects Working Conditions: Usual office
working conditions at Pureflow TSC in Lakeland, FL. Occasional
travel is required to visit a client's office, production facility
or industrial/construction job site. Conditions vary at each
location. The regular hours for Pureflow engineering staff are
Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, and as an Engineer, you
will work to fulfill responsibilities to clients and PFI support
staff. Travel and overnights are expected in the business and are
subject to requests and approval by your Manager. Overnights
generally average 4-8 per month (or 25%) and will occasionally
include weekends. Due to ongoing project workload and training
opportunities, overnights will initially be higher than average.
Overnights may be consecutive depending on project site location
and requirements. Reports to: Florida Technical Service Center
