*****This position is more than 50% remote, however candidate must be local to Orlando, FL and/or willing to relocate to the area********** This is a Reliability Engineering position that will provide FRACAS, Sustainment, and NRE supportThe support includes:
--- Lead Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) process to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
--- Recognizing opportunities for improvement based on failure data, sustainment costs, support development and implementation of system design improvementsManagement of the failure investigation of failure trends to identify root cause, corrective action, and implementation of the corrective action to improve field performance.
--- Assess effectiveness of incorporated corrective actions.
--- Interface with the Reliability Engineering Team, Depot Team, and Program Management to convey failure trends, and status of failure investigations.
--- Interface with mechanical/electrical/systems engineering and procurement to help direct the failure investigation of a particular field failure trends.
--- Support customer operation hours reconciliation and deport repairs reconciliation
--- Participation in Corrective Action Boards (CAB), Failure Review Boards (FRB), and Yield Improvement Team (YIT).
--- Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
--- Additional responsibilities may include reliability predictions, mission reliability modeling, maintainability analysis and other ad-hoc analysis supporting domestic and international customersBasic Qualifications
--- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education(Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering)
--- Experienced with reliability FRACAS and driving failure investigations to root cause and corrective action.
--- Strong Computer Skills including MS Office
--- Reliability & Maintainability Experience
--- Demonstrated ability to work within a team
--- Strong interpersonal communication, planning and writing skills
--- Ability to adapt to up-tempo work environment, motivated and result oriented Desired Skills
--- Experience with Weibull, Reliability growth, and statistical analysis.
--- Experience troubleshooting or repairing electronics in military or commercial industry
--- Experience presenting findings to customers and management
--- Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting
--- Understanding Engineering drawings/schematics, Mechanical and electronic
--- Understanding of requirements conforming to current industrial/military standards
