In this position you will:
Be the Product Quality Engineer for the Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) market segments supporting the Orlando factory location. This role will require approximately 100% onsite support. You will assist the TLS Quality manager with the implementation of digital enhancements to improve efficiencies and costs. Work directly with various quality program managers under the RMS umbrella to ensure quality products are delivered on time to contract. Monitor and document defects in your areas and create presentations detailing areas for improvements and opportunities identified via Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) and resolutions. Attend Operational Excellence Team (OET) meetings to present documented defects to drive solutions and reduce defects. Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Monitor, review, analyze, and report quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems. Lead investigations of problems, develop dispositions and implement and ensure compliance with corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interface with senior management, manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Monitor recommendations for corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
* Technical Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above
* Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products
* Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality inspection methods
* Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
* Experience in disposition of non-conforming products
* Strong understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
* Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Desired Skills:
* Lean / Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* Knowledge Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
* Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management
* Ability to travel
* SAP Application experience
* Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing
* Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
