HDR is hiring Civil Site Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Orlando, FL. This position can also be based in Tampa.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal
• Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration
• Responsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction #LI-JS6
  
  Qualifications
  
  Required Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline required
  • PE required
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in site development and the design of building related site civil (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control) is required
  • Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3D required
  • Must be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound civil site designs
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of modeling software such as ICPR, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD
    • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired
    • Local candidates are preferred
