THE ROLE: Senior Engineer, Collaboration
Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination and operations of the Voice, Video and Collaboration infrastructure systems. Employee will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, deployment and ongoing operational support. Employee will work with Facility related open/close/move activity.
Travel Requirements:
National Travel for Facility Related Projects (15%-20%)
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on all voice or video infrastructure applications.

  • Any break / fix that may occur on voice or video related applications
    
  • Vendor management of our SIP Carrier, including all moving or closing of locations, any porting of numbers from acquired companies or any issues that need technical assistance involving the carrier.
    
  • Management of DID's owned by the company, including any new requests or removals.
    
  • Review bills for legacy telco and contact carrier to remove or change if needed.
    
  • Physical installation and removal of equipment as needed, across all infrastructure teams.
    
  • Create any documentation needed for internal or end user use, including How To documents or processes.
    
  • Meet and work with Early Field Trial teams at Cisco to keep Presidio on the latest collaboration hardware and software internally to help push sales of new technology.
    
  • Pre-stage equipment, including servers, video endpoints or any conference room technology.
    
  • Verify network connectivity for collaboration endpoints, including port status or VLAN changes.
    
  • Work with Network or Datacenter teams as needed for troubleshooting or projected related tasks.
    
  • Performs Current Equipment Assessments.
    
  • Provides Budget and Pricing Assessments.
    
  • Provides Scope of Work Assessments.
    
  • Assists in Design and Implementation Planning.
    
  • Performs Carrier Management (per facility):
    
    • 
      
    • Addition of DIDs
      
    • Reassignment of DIDs
      
    • Location changes.
      
    • Forwarding of numbers as needed.
      
      
      
    • User Setup:
      
      • 
        
      • User Creation
        
      • Equipment Identification & Phone Assignments
        
      • Voicemail Setup
        
      • WebEx
        
      • Initiate port of numbers from old carrier to Presidio
        
      • Device pools and calling search spaces
        
      • Test and configure for remote users

          Required Experience:
          
          • 
            
          • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
            
          • 7+ years experience with Voice, Video and Collaboration Technologies
            
          • Strong experience with Call Manager, Unity, Telepresence, WebEx, Conference Bridges, Conference Room Technologies, Telepresence Scheduler, SIP Routing
            
          • CCNP - Voice/Collab Certification Required
